Appearance and texture
The texture of old Cheddar is crumbly and breaks up more easily than mild Cheddar.

Aroma and taste
Its sensory qualities include its refined taste, a distinct nutty flavour, and a buttery and almond-like aroma. Its period of maturation is between 9 and 24 months.

The best way to enjoy
This cheese, which many people enjoy in cheese platters, can also be used in a Caesar salad or accompanied with grapes. Whether you use it in a fondue or grated on a pizza, its rich and surprising taste will leave you begging for more!

Are you short of “raclette” cheese? Use cold St. Guillaume Old Cheddar on your grill, the results will be delicious!

It is recommended to let stand at room temperature for a minimum of 2 hours before consumption.
Conservations and storage
Old Cheddar must be refrigerated and can be kept in its original packaging for up to 6 months after its packaging date.
